Police say the driver wanted in the deadly Barcelona van ramming could be armed and dangerous, and apparently fled on foot before he hijacked another vehicle.
Officials say a victim found stabbed dead in a car in Barcelona is linked to the case, raising the death toll to 15.
It is not immediately clear if a man seen running from that car after it crashed into police is Younes Abouyaaqoub, suspected of carrying out the van attack.
“We are raising the number of victims from 14 to 15 to include the victim in the vehicle found in Sant Just,” Catalonia’s regional minister Joaquim Forn tells tells journalists.
