Blast rocks SpaceX site during test for Israeli satellite launch
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleAn explosion rocks the SpaceX launch site in Florida during tests of a rocket intended to launch an Israeli satellite this weekend.
NASA says SpaceX was conducting a test firing of its unmanned rocket when the blast occurred. The test, considered routine, was in advance of the planned Saturday satellite launch from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station.
The blast shakes buildings several miles away and multiple explosions continue for several minutes, filling the sky with a cloud of dark smoke.
