US Secretary of State Antony Blinken says that he discussed in today’s meetings with Israeli officials coordinating efforts to ensure that the October 7 onslaught doesn’t repeat itself but also to build a “different future” — a strategy that creates a “better tomorrow for both peoples and the region.”
He says the steps that the United States has taken to prevent the war from escalating have included counter-strikes at Iranian proxies in Syria.
