Eshkol council head: We cannot go back to days of rocket fire
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleThe head of the Eshkol Regional Council, which borders the Gaza Strip, says the communities in the area will not accept a return to the days of ongoing rocket fire from the Hamas-run territory.
“Yesterday it was a Kassam in Sderot, today it was us in Eshkol,” Gadi Yarkoni tells Army Radio. “This cannot continue, not even for a few days. We will not accept a return to the sporadic fire on communities bordering Gaza, which is something that was over two years ago.”
