Gaza rocket fire causes damage in border towns, loss of power

Emanuel (Mannie) Fabian is The Times of Israel's military correspondent.

A rocket landed near a home in a town in the Eshkol Regional Council, causing damage, local authorities say.

The council adds that there are power outages in some towns due to a rocket hitting electrical lines in the area.

Shrapnel from Iron Dome interceptions has also damaged several homes.

In all cases there have been no injuries, the council says.
