The spokesperson for Hamas’s military wing is lashing out at Likud MK Oren Hazan, who blocked a bus of Palestinians from Gaza from visiting family inside Israeli prisons.
“Have the courage to deal with this issue in the right place and resolve the issue courageously instead of pretending to be strong against women,” says Abu Obeidah, referring to an old woman that Hazan traded barbs with.

Hazan and others blocked the entrance to the Nafha prison in southern Israel to protest the fact that Hamas has refused to give Israel or the Red Cross information about Israeli captives and the bodies of soldiers it holds.
“You put your soldiers into a battle in Gaza and left them to the unknown. Instead of confronting the truth and behaving with honor and manhood, you’ve chosen the path of cowardice to give up your responsibilities and run away from paying the price,” he adds.
Hamas is demanding the release of prisoners in exchange for the Israelis.
“We assure our heroic prisoners and their families that the occupation is doomed to fall and the dawn of freedom is inevitable,” he concludes.
