President Isaac Herzog takes off from Israel to Jordan, to meet with King Abdullah II at the Al Husseiniya Palace in Amman.
They will hold a one-on-one meeting, then will hold a meeting with their advisors present as well.
The leaders are expected to discuss deepening bilateral ties, stability amid the current wave of terrorism in Israel, and opportunities for regional cooperation.
