Hezbollah praises Jerusalem attack, says it’s not terror

Hezbollah has issued a statement hailing the Jerusalem terror attack and rebuffing international condemnation, saying the incident in which a driver rammed his car into a group of cadets getting off a bus was not terror.

The Lebanese terror group says it is wrong to compare the attack, which left four dead, to similar attacks by the Islamic State, claiming instead that “the Zionist entity is the source of all terror,” according to Lebanese news outlet al-Manar, a Hezbollah mouthpiece.

In July, the terror group condemned the Nice, France, truck attack, as did Hamas, which has also praised the Jerusalem truck-ramming.

Israeli officials have drawn links between the attacks in Nice, Berlin and Jerusalem and say attacker Fadi al-Qunbar was inspired by the Islamic State.
