High Court freezes work of committee probing internal police investigations

The High Court of Justice issues an injunction that halts the work of a committee to probe the police internal investigations unit, whose establishment by the government was opposed by Attorney General Avichai Mandelblit.

The High Court gives the government 60 days to respond as to why the committee should not be scrapped altogether.
