Hospitals prepare themselves for wartime footing

Rambam Medical Center in Haifa says its underground parking lot has been closed to vehicles as part of the state of emergency in the country. The emergency room is open, but the public is urged not to come in unless cases are medically necessary.

Also in Haifa, Bnei Zion Medical Center reports that it has begun transferring departments to a protected building and designated areas. The hospital is preparing to release patients who do not require hospitalization to their homes or institutions for continued hospitalization.
