Hundreds attend Torah procession through East Jerusalem

Some 300 Israeli Jews attend a celebratory march through East Jerusalem, accompanying a Torah scroll to its new home at the Ohel Shlomo synagogue.

Knesset members Nurit Koren (Likud) along with Moti Yogev and Uri Ariel (Jewish Home) are taking part in the traditional procession through the Palestinian neighborhood of Silwan.

The event is being held with police permission.
