IDF concerned soldier kidnapped in Rafah
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleThe IDF fears an Israeli soldier may have been kidnapped around 9:30 a.m. in the vicinity of Rafah.
This occurred when gunmen opened fire on IDF troops in the southern Gaza Strip city. The IDF suspects terrorists kidnapped a soldier, and is conducting extensive searches and efforts to resolve the situation.
The IDF has constantly warned of the dangers of Hamas attempts to kidnap soldiers, and has thwarted several such efforts in the last few days.
