A building used by Hamas to launch two rockets yesterday at the southern port city of Ashdod was destroyed in a strike, the military says, as troops push deeper into Gaza City.

The IDF says that during operations of the 162nd Division in Gaza City, the 215th Artillery Regiment struck the building from which Hamas operatives launched the rockets. Other forces of the division killed 15 gunmen identified near troops and demolished Hamas infrastructure, the military says.

Also in Gaza City, the IDF says the 98th Division directed an Israeli Air Force drone to strike a Hamas weapons manufacturing site. The division’s forces separately spotted a cell of operatives near troops and directed another drone strike that killed them.

In the Strip’s south, the IDF says the Gaza Division spotted several Hamas operatives in a building, which was then targeted in a drone strike.
