The IDF says 30 trucks of humanitarian aid from the international community crossed into the north of the Gaza Strip today, the latest delivery over the past week as Israel faces pressure from the US to ramp up aid.

The Israeli military body overseeing humanitarian aid, COGAT, says the trucks carried food, water, medical supplies, and shelter equipment.

“The aid arrived from the Port of Ashdod to the Erez West crossing and into the Gaza Strip, as part of Israel’s commitment to delivering humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip. It is important to emphasize that all the aid was transferred after thorough security inspections,” COGAT says.
