IDF says 5 Hezbollah operatives killed after entering command center belonging to the terror group

The IDF says troops operating in southern Lebanon killed five Hezbollah operatives yesterday after spotting them entering a command center belonging to the terror group north of the Israeli-held area in southern Lebanon.

According to the military, soldiers from the 551st Reserve Paratroopers Brigade operating under the 146th Division identified the operatives north of the IDF’s forward defense line, and directed an air force strike on the building in a “rapid closing of the circle.”

The IDF adds that over the past day, troops also struck Hezbollah weapons depots and other terror infrastructure in Lebanon, while additional operatives deemed a threat were also killed.
