During an airstrike ahead of the ceasefire in southern Lebanon yesterday, the IDF says a bomb mistakenly struck next to the ground troops.

According to the IDF, the Israeli Air Force had targeted a suspicious building next to the troops.

“Due to a human error, the munition did not hit the target and fell next to the forces,” the military says, adding that no injuries were caused.

The incident is under further investigation, the IDF adds.
