IDF scrambles units to West Bank, anticipating violence
The IDF has scrambled four battalions and put two brigades on top alert, anticipating a rise in violence following the terror attack on the Dawabsha home in the West Bank village of Duma.
Security officials fear Hamas will also fire rockets at Israel in revenge for the attack.
A Channel 2 analyst says the search for the perpetrators began “several critical hours” after the incident occurred. Another anchor says until today “zero perpetrators” of similar attacks have been caught.
Israeli politicians from across the political spectrum have all condemned the attack in the strongest terms. Prime Minister Netanyahu, President Rivlin and Defense Minister Moshe Ya’alon have all called the perpetrators “terrorists.” Jewish Home leader Naftali Bennett called them “murderers.”
