IDF spokesman warns Islamic Jihad against ‘playing with fire’

IDF Spokesman Ronen Manelis publishes an Arabic Facebook post warning Palestinian Islamic Jihad in fire against “playing with fire” after the terror group vowed vengeance for the Israeli strike on one of its military posts in the coastal enclave that left three dead.

The aerial attack came as the army uncovered an IED planted along the Gaza border fence, which it subsequently managed to defuse.

“We hear the threats from the Iranian-supported terrorist organizations in Gaza. He who plays with fire puts himself in danger,” Manelis writes.
