Iran reportedly tells mediators talks with US conditional on Lebanon ceasefire

Iran has informed mediators with the US that it will only participate in talks in Pakistan if the current ceasefire includes Lebanon, people familiar with the matter tell The Wall Street Journal.

Iran has told the mediators have said it will continue to attack its neighbors, including Israel, and reverse its decision to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, if the IDF continues to strike Hezbollah in Lebanon, the sources say.

US President Donald Trump has said the ceasefire reached overnight with Iran does not include Lebanon.
