Iran's military threatens US with 'harsher response' if it attacks again

Iran’s top joint military command, Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, says the United States will receive a more severe response than before if it attacks Iran, after President Donald Trump said the US would strike Iran again.

“Considering recent US threats against Iran’s oil infrastructure, either oil and gas exports are for everyone or they will be available for no one,” the command says in a statement carried by state media.

“If the United States once again seeks to carry out attacks against heroic Iran, it will receive a harsher response than before, and the flames of war, in addition to creating insecurity in the region, will become more widespread and far-reaching,” adds the statement attributed to General Ali Abdollahi.
