Israel, Jordan said discussing possibility of closing Temple Mount

Israel and Jordan are discussing the possibility of closing the Temple Mount due to the viral outbreak, though they have not reached agreements as of yet, Haaretz reports.

Source in Israel and in the Jordanian Waqf, which administers the site, tell the paper that if Israel closes the Mughrabi Bridge, through which Jews enter the site, it will make it easier for the Jordanians to close their side.

The mosques at the site are closed, but the plaza itself remains open for prayer. Friday saw several scuffles at the site, as police attempted to enforce restrictions on gatherings on Muslim worshipers.
