The seventh round of Lebanon-Israel talks in Rome has ended, an Israeli official tells The Times of Israel.
The meeting had three parallel tracks, according to the Saudi Asharq News: legal, political, and military.
The legal track dealt with Lebanese prisoners held by Israel, according to Asharq. The outlet calls the atmosphere on the prisoner issue “positive.”
Lebanese civilians detained by Israel will be handled separately from Hezbollah operatives captured by Israel, according to the report.
The political track discussed proposed pilot zones where the Lebanese Armed Forces will take over from IDF control, while the military track aimed to agree on common definitions of military operations.
