Israel sizzles under record-breaking late November heatwave

The Israel Meteorological Society says the country’s average temperature today has broken records for the end of November.

According to the IMS, the average temperature is 10 degrees higher than the seasonal average.

The Beit Dagan IMS station recorded a temperature of 36.2°C (97°F) and 35.8°C (96°F) at the Hefetz Haim station in the Shfela region.
