Israel will have to pay for a picture of captive soldier, Hamas says

Hamas spokesman Mushir al-Misri says that Israel will have to pay a price to even see a picture of the soldier the group claims to have abducted.

Hamas claimed on Sunday to have seized a soldier named Shaul Aron, but Israeli officials say gunmen may have simply retrieved some identifying items from the scene after the attack on the APC that killed six Golani soldiers and may have also killed a soldier named Oron Shaul.

According to the IDF, Shaul and six other soldiers were in an armored personnel carrier which was hit by an anti-tank missile in Gaza on Sunday, but while the others have been identified among the remains recovered from the scene, Shaul has not.

The army’s investigation is ongoing.
