Israeli warplanes create major sonic boom over Beirut right before Nasrallah speaks

BEIRUT — Israeli warplanes fly low over the Lebanese capital Beirut, with witnesses saying they can see the planes with the naked eye and creating one of the largest sonic booms heard by residents in years.

The flyovers and sonic booms take place minutes before Hezbollah head Hassan Nasrallah begins an address to mark the one-week memorial of the Lebanese terror group’s top military commander Fuad Shukr, killed in an Israeli strike last week in Beirut’s southern suburbs.
