Knesset oversight committee to discuss violence
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleThe Knesset State Control Committee will hold a hearing Tuesday on the security situation in Jerusalem and around the country.
Committee chair MK Karin Elharar (Yesh Atid) says the committee will explore ways to “ensure a sense of security for parents and children, young and old, in Jerusalem and nationwide.”
It was important for the committee, charged with the oversight of state agencies, to “not hold this hearing after the fact, but while it is at its height,” Elharar says.
