Likud official suspected of witness harassment asks police to probe witness harassment

Likud campaign manager Ofer Golan, who is under investigation for witness harassment, is requesting that police open an investigation into other cases of harassment against the same witness.

Golan submits to police over 50 examples of alleged harassment of Shlomo Filber, a former confidant of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu who is now a state’s witness in a case implicating the premier.

Besides Golan, who is also spokesman for the Netanyahu family, Likud spokesman Jonatan Urich is being investigated for allegedly harassing Filber .

Golan and Urich have asked Attorney General Avichai Mandelblit to drop the investigation over the “illegal” search of their phones.
