Minister says no ceasefire before tunnels dealt with
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleIsrael will not agree to a ceasefire with Hamas in Gaza “before we (take care of) the tunnel issue,” Science and Technology Minister Yaakov Peri, a former Shin Bet chief, tells Ynet.
Peri notes that, despite the many attack tunnels already uncovered and destroyed by troops along the border, Hamas is using still others to infiltrate Israel to “attempt to carry out a significant attack.”
