More than 360 treated as temperatures soar

The Magen David Adom emergency rescue service says it has treated some 367 people in the last 2 days weather-related conditions as temperatures have soared throughout the country.

MDA says most of the cases were people who felt weak or fainted from the sweltering temperatures. Some 28 people were treated for dehydration, the MDA says, including a 17-year-old girl who was hospitalized yesterday to Tel Hashomer Hospital in moderate condition.
