Netanyahu to convene security briefing after West Bank shooting

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will convene a security briefing with the defense minister and IDF chief of staff after a deadly West Bank shooting incident that saw one Israeli and four Palestinians killed, his office says.

The meeting will examine “options to respond to the murderous attack near Havat Gilad,” the statement says.

“We will respond with force against the terrorists and those who send them and will not allow terror to raise its head in Judea and Samaria,” Netanyahu is quoted as saying, referring to the West Bank by its biblical name.
