Netanyahu to testify in corruption trial tomorrow, after visit by Cypriot president nixed

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will testify in the Tel Aviv District Court tomorrow in his criminal trial on corruption charges, after a visit by Cyprus’ President Nikos Christodoulides, which had been expected to take place tomorrow, was canceled.
Netanyahu’s lawyers requested earlier this week that the court cancel the hearing due to the diplomatic visit, but they informed the court today that Christodoulides’s visit had been canceled.
The prime minister’s testimony under cross-examination from the prosecution is now scheduled to start at 9:30 a.m. and last until 4:30 p.m.
