Orthodox Union condemns attack, says it violates Jewish values

The leadership of the Union of Orthodox Jewish Congregations of America “strongly condemns today’s apparent ‘price tag’ attack by Israelis on a Palestinian home near Nablus, burning homes and murdering an infant. Such a heinous act offends all people of good will and violates basic Jewish values,” the organization says in a statement.

“We commend Prime Minister Netanyahu for his unequivocal repudiation of this act and his commitment to bring the perpetrators to justice,” the brief statement reads.

The Orthodox Union, however, refrains from calling the attack an act of terrorism.
