Pakistani PM: US-Iran truce ‘effective immediately,’ also covers Lebanon ‘and elsewhere’

The prime minister of Pakistan, which has been serving as the key mediator between the US and Iran, claims that the two-week ceasefire between the sides is “effective immediately” despite continued Iranian ballistic missile attacks on Israel.
Premier Shehbaz Sharif says that in addition to Tehran and Washington “their allies” agreed to “an immediate ceasefire everywhere including Lebanon and elsewhere.”
He also invites both the US and Iran to Pakistan on Friday “to further negotiate for a conclusive agreement to settle all disputes” and says he hopes the talks will “succeed in achieving sustainable peace.”
With the greatest humility, I am pleased to announce that the Islamic Republic of Iran and the United States of America, along with their allies, have agreed to an immediate ceasefire everywhere including Lebanon and elsewhere, EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY.
