Passage through Hormuz needs to be coordinated with Guards, unfreezing assets is part of the deal, Iranian official says

All commercial ships, including US vessels, can sail through the Strait of Hormuz, although their plans need to be coordinated with Iran’s Revolutionary Guards, a senior Iranian official tells Reuters, adding that unfreezing Iran’s funds had been part of the agreement regarding Hormuz.

The official says transits would be restricted to lanes Iran deemed safe, adding that military vessels were still prohibited from crossing the strait.
