Peace activists plan unofficial memorials for Rabin

Despite the apparent cancellation of the Rabin memorial rally on Saturday night, former Peace Now head Yariv Oppenheimer says he will still go to Rabin Square to mark 21 years since Rabin’s assassination.

“With or without a memorial, this Saturday night at 9 p.m., I will be at the square, lighting a candle. Share and come,” he writes on Twitter.

Others have also said they will hold unofficial ceremony for Rabin at the square Saturday night even without an official memorial.
