“I want you to learn – learn to write, learn to read, learn Hebrew, Arabic and English. I want you to learn mathematics. I want you to learn science,” Netanyahu tells the students. “I want you to learn the truth, and the truth says that we were destined to live together.”
Surprising teachers and students with an address in Arabic, Bennett echoes the prime minister’s message, saying he wants the children to know that he is the education minister for every student in Israel.
“Together, we will make groundbreaking achievements,” Bennett says. “May we have a year of understanding, love, hope and success. I want to say to everyone here, I am the education minister for everyone.”
