PM orders to temporarily suspend contact with EU

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu orders to temporarily suspend diplomatic contacts with European Union institutions and representatives, due to the body’s ruling on the labeling of products made in West Bank settlements.

Netanyahu also says the Foreign Ministry will reassess its stance regarding involvement of EU representatives in Israeli-Palestinian negotiations.

The ministry clarifies that Israel will continue to maintain political contact with European countries such as Germany, Britain and France.
