PM seeks to make Islamic Movement’s Northern Branch illegal
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GooglePrime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu orders the state prosecution and security agencies to gather evidence and prepare the case for declaring the Northern Branch of the Islamic Movement an illegal organization.
The prime minister has charged that the group is engaged in incitement to violence and is partly responsible for the latest wave of violence.
The order comes at the conclusion of a Sunday evening meeting of the security cabinet.
