Police officer lightly hurt in suspected East Jerusalem stabbing attack

A police officer has been hurt in a suspected stabbing attack in East Jerusalem’s Ras al-Amud neighborhood, police say.

The officer’s condition is not immediately clear, but the Magen David Adom emergency service says he is conscious.

The alleged attacker has fled the scene, according to police. Officers are searching the area.
