Israel’s Ambassador to the UN, Ron Prosor, says in a statement that Israelis woke up this morning to a sad day of hatred and violence, marked by a heinous terror attack.

Prosor says an entire family was destroyed with the killing of toddler Ali Dawabsha. He adds that the Israeli public and politicians from across the political spectrum condemn the attack and all displays of fanaticism, which achieve nothing but pain and drive dialogue further away.

Israel will continue to act against all displays of extremism in Israel and around the world, Prosor says.
