Qatari jet arrives in Israel amid Gaza hostage agreement

In a rare move, a Qatari private jet has landed at Ben Gurion Airport, Hebrew-language media reports.

The flight arrived from Larnaca in Cyprus, the Kan public broadcaster says.

Qatar, which has close ties to Hamas, has played a key role — along with Egypt — in mediating the temporary lull in fighting between Israel and the terror group, in an agreement that has seen the release of hostages held in Gaza since the devastating October 7 assault.
