Report: Hamas operative surrendered to Israeli forces in Gaza

A Hamas operative surrendered to Israeli forces in the Gaza Strip today, a US official tells CBS News.
According to the report, the operative crossed the Yellow Line demarcating the military’s withdrawal, and told troops that he was recently recruited by Hamas but now regretted his choice.
The military confirms to The Times of Israel that troops detained a “suspect” who crossed the Yellow Line in southern Gaza earlier today, before transferring him for further questioning.
