An official with Palestinian Islamic Jihad has reportedly arrived in Cairo for talks about a ceasefire with Israel.

According to Al-Arabiya, the head of the group’s political department, Mohamad al-Hindi, has arrived in Cairo for talks.

The news agency cites Hindi as saying that Islamic Jihad’s conditions for ending the fighting include the end of targeted assassinations, the release of the body of Khader Adnan, an Islamic Jihad member who died in Israeli prison earlier this month, and the cancellation of next week’s Jerusalem Day Flag March.
