Rival Bedouin families in Rahat reach ‘sulha’ to end hostilities in honor of Eid

A pair of rival Bedouin families in Rahat have reached a sulha according to which they have agreed to end their hostilities in honor of Eid al-Fitr, Ynet reports.

The clashes between the Al-Bahiri and the Al-Aubrah families reached a peak in recent days when a relative of the former family fired at members of the latter clan as they sat in a cafe in Rahat. The suspect was arrested in the incident, but hasn’t been charged.
