Sick Netanyahu cancels coalition talks to defuse crisis
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GooglePrime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu cancels marathon coalition talks aimed at defusing an escalating political crisis threatening to bring down his government.
Netanyahu had been scheduled to hold talks with Finance Minister Moshe Kahlon and other cabinet ministers in a bid to resolve tensions over the launch of a new public broadcasting corporation, but the prime minister reportedly got sick on his recent visit to China and has canceled all his Thursday meetings.
A new date for the talks has not yet been set.
