State Prosecutor’s Office accepts Netanyahu’s request to postpone testimony this week

The State Prosecutor’s Office accepts Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s request to cancel his testimony in his corruption trial this week.
Netanyahu’s request to postpone next week’s testimony as well will be examined separately, the State Prosecutor’s Office says.
The trial was put on hold because of the Iran war that started on February 28. It was set to resume today amid the two-week ceasefire that US President Donald Trump announced on Wednesday.
On Friday, Netanyahu’s defense asked that his testimony be postponed “due to classified security and diplomatic reasons,” and said it was prepared to continue hearing the testimony of a prosecution witness.
