Student group distributes ‘The Columbia Intifada’ newspaper on campus
Columbia University’s Students for Justice in Palestine is distributing a print newspaper called “The Columbia Intifada” on the college’s campus.
A post on Instagram by Columbia University Apartheid Divest says the organization distributed 1,000 copies on campus.
New York Rep. Mike Lawler, a Republican, calls the publication “outrageous.”
“If @Columbia cannot protect Jewish students on their campus, they should lose federal funding and have their tax-exempt status revoked,” he writes on X. “And for those students here on a visa engaged in an ‘intifada’ against American students of the Jewish faith? Deport them.”
This is outrageous.

And for those students here on a visa engaged in an “intifada” against American students of the Jewish faith? Deport them. https://t.co/6NtCPc4mDe
