Ten portable bomb shelters placed in Eilat, as Houthi drone attacks continue

Ten portable bomb shelters have been placed in Eilat, the city announces, a week and a half after a drone launched by the Houthi group in Yemen smashed into a hotel in the resort city, wounding 20 people.

The shelters were put in open spaces, including beaches, sports fields, and parks, to provide citizens with a protected area to run to in the case of further drone or missile attacks, the city says.

Earlier this evening, sirens warned of another drone infiltration. Shortly thereafter, air defenses appeared to successfully shoot down the drone. No one was hurt.
