“The state of Israel is a symbol to the world of resilience in the face of oppression,” he says in prepared remarks.
“We will never forget what the Jewish people have endured,” he adds.
Trump calls the security challenges facing Israel enormous, saying the Iran deal is “one of the worst deals I have ever seen” and vows to do more to “prevent Iran from ever developing, I mean ever, a nuclear weapon.”
