Trump: No meeting with Rouhani until Iranians ‘change their tune’
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleArriving at the UN for his speech to the General Assembly, US President Donald Trump says he won’t meet with Iran’s President Hassan Rouhani until Iranian leaders “change their tune.”
“It will happen. I believe they have no choice,” he tells reporters.
Though he said Iran has “acted very badly,” Trump said “we look forward to having a great relationship with Iran, but it won’t happen now.”
Trump also says he is setting up a second meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.
